TICA Outstanding Cattery Certification

The International Cat Association (TICA) is one of the largest cat registries in the world. Every year TICA invites high quality catteries to apply and qualify for their Outstanding Cattery certification by meeting strict requirements of safety, health, wellness, and cleanliness within our cattery. This process includes an in-person inspection of our cattery by a certified veterinarian, who then must submit a certified report to TICA. Riverside Rags has been inspected and certified by Dr. Hank Oliver of Animal Hospital of Pasco. Here is the current list of TICA Outstanding Catteries. No Kitty Mills

We are a small cattery. Our kittens and breeding cats live in our home with us and play with our young children. We do not have a separate outdoor facility or any other kind of environment where the cats and kittens are only seen when they are fed and watered. Extensive Testing

Riverside Rags queens and kings are tested for HCM, PKD, FeLV, and FIP. We also run a URD (Upper Respiratory Disease) panel test on every one of our breeding cats. This tests for seven different viruses including calicivirus and herpes which are known to be highly contagious and problematic. From our location in the great Pacific Northwest, we provide services to hand deliver and safely ship ragdoll kittens anywhere in the US, both by car and by air travel. About Us

Riverside Rags

is a TICA® and CFA® registered cattery located in the Pacific Northwest.  Our Ragdolls are raised in a loving environment and are adopted out to be indoor-only cats.  Our cats are tested and guaranteed negative for HCM, PKD, FeLV, FIV along with an entire panel of Upper Respiratory Diseases.

Upon adoption, they are litter-boxed trained, have received their first shots and come with a 3-year health guarantee. An unprecedented 10-year guarantee is also available upon request.

Riverside Rags is the only cattery at present to receive both the Outstanding Cattery award and Cattery of Excellence award from TICA and CFA.
