Our babies grow so fast!
We all wish our sweet little kittens could stay tiny forever. But the bigger they get, the more cuddly they are! So it only gets better from here.
Ragdoll cats are known for their docile and affectionate nature, and are often referred to as “floppy cats” due to their tendency to relax completely when picked up. But besides their gentle demeanor, another striking characteristic of Ragdolls is their size. So, how big do ragdoll cats get?

As kittens, Ragdolls are already larger than most other breeds. However, it’s during their growth spurt between 6 months to 1 year old that they start to bulk up. By the time they reach adulthood, many Ragdolls weigh between 10-20 pounds. Some exceptionally large ragdoll beauties can even exceed 20 pounds!
It’s important to note that a Ragdoll’s final size can be influenced by several factors, including genetics, diet, and overall health. While some Ragdolls might be on the smaller side, most will develop into substantial cats.
How Big do Ragdoll Cats Get?
Despite their size, Ragdolls remain surprisingly graceful and agile. Their long, muscular bodies allow them to navigate their obstacles with ease. However, their gentle nature and love of cuddles will often make them seem more like oversized teddy bears than athletic felines. We hope you will love your gentle giant!
