How to Reserve a Kitten

1

Select Your Kitten

We strive to make the experience of adopting your new family member as stress-free as possible. Hence, we have created this website experience with you in mind. When you make a deposit on a particular kitten, that kitten will automatically be labeled as “Reserved”. In this way, you can know with confidence that that kitten is reserved for you and will not be available for anyone else. You can also be assured that all of our kittens labeled as “Available” are indeed available.

Scroll through our “Ragdoll Kittens for Sale” page and your heart will melt when you find your new furbaby. Once this happens, go to step 2!

If don’t see the the kitten your heart is set on, then click on the “kitten” that says, “Non-refundable deposit on a future kitten”. This is where you can make a deposit to reserve a kitten for a later time.

Make Your Desposit

When you have found the kitten of your dreams, click on the button associated with that kitten to reserve him or her.

If a kitten is not flagged “Reserved” then that kitten is definitely  “Available” for you to reserve.

You can also reserve a future kitten if there is a specific color, pattern and gender. Just click on the “kitten” that says, “Non-refundable deposit on a future kitten”. This is where you can make a deposit to reserve a kitten for a later time.

Connect With Us

Either before or after you make a deposit, please send us a message through our “Contact Us” page.  We can help you find exactly what you are looking for and can answer any questions you might have.  While we can certainly discuss things with you by phone, most of the detailed communications will be handled via email so that important details don’t slip through the cracks.

Please be sure to check your email frequently and respond promptly as we communicate about your pickup, delivery or shipping preferences.  There are a number of arrangements that we need to make to coordinate your adoption day and it is essential that we get timely responses from you.

We will work with you to determine how best to schedule your in-person pickup, delivery via car, fly-in/fly-out pickup, hand-carry delivery via air travel, or air cargo shipping.  As these details are sorted out, we will send you a total cost for the remaining balance after your deposit.  The balance is typically due when the kitten reaches “ready to go” status.  Please see this page for information about the ready to go status and when the balance will be due.

F.A.Q.

Can I visit your cattery to choose a kitten in person?
Yes, of course!  Please first make a deposit for a future kitten.  Then contact us to schedule an appointment.  We will want to know which of the available kittens you are interested in seeing.
Please note that until a specific kitten has been designated by you as the one you want, it is possible that someone else might reserve one that you were interested in before your scheduled visit.  Unfortunately, we can’t hold back the kittens you are interested in.
How much do your kittens cost?
Not much when compared to the overall cost of a pet during the course of its life. If a cat has an average lifespan of 16 years, an owner could spend close to a total of $20,000 over that amount of time. (See www.creditloan.com). Due to this projected overall figure, it is important that the intial cost of a kitten be kept in perspective. Deciding which kitten to adopt shouldn’t necessarily be entirely based on its purchase price, but on which little ball of fur will bring you the greatest satisfaction over the long haul. That said, our kittens run anywhere from $1500 to $6500. Please visit our ragdoll kittens for sale page for current available kittens and their pricing.
Have you tested your cats for HCM?
Yes! All of our breeding cats have tested negative for HCM, PKD, FeLV, and FIV. We also run a URD panel test on all of our breeding cats.
Are your kittens litter box trained?

Yes!  All of our kittens are litter box trained before they go home with you.  Talk with us about best practices for transitioning your new kitten to the new location of their litter box in your home.

Do you deliver and/or ship your ragdoll kittens?

We encourage you to come pick up your kitten, either driving to our cattery or fly-in/fly-out.

However, we do deliver and ship our kittens (both within the US and internationally).

Please see this page for information about pickup, delivery via car or air, and shipping via air cargo.

What kind of litter should I buy?
We litter-box train our kittens using Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attract and will send a small amount home with your kitten. Please see this page where we discuss our recommendations for litter, litter boxes and litter handling tools.  You will want to be prepared with this prior to bringing home your new fur ball kitten!
