Our Location
We are located on the bank of the beautiful Columbia River in Pasco Washington (the Tri-Cities area). Our ragdoll cats can watch the birds soaring, the fish jumping, and other wildlife through their picture window view of the river. Our central Pacific Northwest location is near Seattle, making it very convenient for people to pickup their new ragdoll kitten or to receive delivery by car.
Adopting Ragdoll Cats in Washington DC
There are three convenient options to receive ragdoll cats in Washington DC from Riverside Rags. The costs for each of these options is fairly similar, so it largely depends on your schedule, your availability and your wishes.
Fly Yourself
- You can fly yourself roundtrip to pick up your kitten. Consider taking a vacation to the west coast or Washington state! Visit the Tri-Cities! Visit the other Washington! There are obviously numerous flight options from Reagan National (DCA) or Dulles (IAD), or frankly any of the other nearby airports. Pretty much any airline will get you to Pasco. Delta Airlines
may be your best bet because there is a direct flight from Minneapolis (MSP) into Pasco as well as direct flights from the east coast into Seattle (SEA) or Salt Lake City (SLC) which is a Delta hub. However, Alaska Airlines and United Airlines are also good options.- When you arrive in Pasco, we will meet you at the airport and you can immediately re-board the same airplane and start your journey home. We call this method “Fly-in / Fly-out”. Or we can coordinate to meet you at the airport as you are departing for home after some vacation time. We can usually make arrangements to work with your schedule and wishes.
Pet Nanny Service
- A Pet Nanny service is another good option to hand-carry your ragdoll cat from Pasco to a Washington DC area airport near you. You will need to be flexible schedule-wise because the pet nannies fly stand-by. Pet Commute and Pet Jet Pals are two good services that we have used.
Air Cargo
- Air cargo is another option during seasons of mild weather. This can be a good choice when you need the confidence of a scheduled arrival but can’t make the trip yourself.
