Traditional ragdoll kittens are born entirely white. After several weeks the colors and patterns of the kittens start to emerge.
Colors will gradually darken as the kitten grows. By the time they are two to three years old, the colors will reach their full strength. Once the initial colors emerge on a kitten, there will be places where the colors appear and other places where they are white or almost white. Where the white fur exists as a kitten (for example, white mitted paws) it will remain white throughout their life, even as the other colors darken.
What will an adult ragdoll cat look like?
An adult cat will look similar to their appearance as a kitten, with the colored parts darker while the white fur will remain white.
